                    John Nicholson being first duly sworn
deposes and says:
 I am the custodian of Book '' C '' Marriage Records of
the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints in which
book appears in due form an entry showing that
James Catlet Earl born 22^nd Mar.1822 at Logan Co Ohio
and
Mary Elizbeth Parsons born 12^th may 1820 at Cnyahoga Co Ohio,
were united in the bonds of Matrimony by Jedediah M. Grant,
an Elder of said Church, on the 10^th day of June A. D. 1856 in the
persence of John Uoun and W. W. Phelps. The said Jedediah M.
Grant is since deceased
