Prest. Harris said he wanted prest Hyde to preside, he
knew that Prest Benson had the right to preside but he
considered him his enemy and therefore did not want to
be tried before him--
Bro. Benson said he wished to wave the Presidency
and let the Council appoint one of their own body to
preside- Bro. J. C. Little moved that J. C. Snow Preside
seconded by Bro.A. Evans, & Browning-

The clerk read Prest O. Hydes letter of the 4 inst to the
Council-- the [===] clerk read the last minutes- accepted-
Prest. E. T. Benson made some remarks relative to
the course to be persued relative to putting farms in
order&c. - his council was for the Brethren to get ready with
their teams waggons & provisions to move and then if it is
necessary to put in a onion bed they can do it
The clerk, then read the charge against Prest. Geo.
W.Harris - and Bro. J. C. Little arrose & made he statement
Bro Harris said not guilty
