Sister Martin stated that she let Bro Mitchel have
one yoke of Oxen & a first rate 50 dollar Waggon
he promissed & pledged her his salvation to
send back the waggon & team & I consider I
have the claim of the Gold Dust. I gave him
money beside to purchase flour on the terms
of having a House & Home when I got to the
Valley and to be situated as though I were
one of the family- Ques by Prest Hyde , What
ammount of means did you give him 12 dollars
The cattle were 3 years old-The ammount of
Gold Dust 120 dollars so considered by him
Prest Hyde called for the letter.-----------------------------
Br Hamblin stated that Mrs Martin said that
I would wait till I got to the Valley before
I got the 45 dollars, but I said no such
thing.-------------------------------------------
Br Balunce stated that he said he saw Br cotteril who
was present when the receitpt was drawn up but
he heard of no agreement & know no thing of
this matter. The evidence was considered stufficient
by the Court regurding the team & waggon
being sent by Mr Pehel to the Valley and
admitted by the opposite Party- Prest Hyde
said that the ammount of Gold was not more
then 60 dollars, according to the estimate
paid on that ammount which would not
be more than suffcuent to purchas a
Team & waggon. Mrs Hamblins statement was,
that she had arranged with Mitchel that if
