Kanesville March 27- 1852
The H. C. met pursuant to adjournment-
Jacob Bigler absent- Prayer by J. Browning-
E. M. Greene clerk who had been absent for the
last 8 weeks from the Council on account of sickness
was present- Councillor J.C. Little who have kept
the minutes during that time bro't them forward
and delivered to the clerk
Prest G. W. Harris presented a receist frpm under the hand
of Prest O. Hyde certifying that the said Geo. W. Harris had
paid him to his full satisfaction $15_ for the land that the
said O. Hyde let him have 4 years ago on condition that
he should pay for it when he was able_
It was moved & carried that the Bishop give Prest. Harris
credit at the rate of $4, a month on his tything & give him
a receist for the same for the house that Sister Pratt occuipies-
It was moved & carried that the Bishop see that the
windows which Sister Pratt had cut out of the house be
nailed up and the house be made secure from any injury
there from--
Some feelings manifested between Prest. Geo. W. Harris,
& J. C. Little, & their feelings were shown now fester by their speaking
before the Council and observations drop't from Each
starting with Prest. Harris--
It was moved & Councillor Snow that Bro. Harris &
Bro. Little drop their feelings & stop their expressions against
Each other and manifest nothing but good feelings here
after carried unanumously they after talking over matters agreed there to & shook hand over it.
both promising never to raise it again
