17 accepted-- Counsellor L. Stoddard reported the names of those
opposed to the present organization,, and presented a list, after the
clerk read the list Counsellor Harris moved that it be left to a committee
of three- The prest moved that Geo. Coulson L. Stoddatd and E. M. Greene
be said Committee .. Carried.. Remarks by Isaac Alred.. The clerk was called
upon to read the papers relative to the case of Sidney Roberts.. The papers
was read, and Sidney Roberts then spoke at some length# considerable
talk by different ones of the Counsellors and Bro Wilkens, Prest of Little
Pigeon.. Counsellor Geo. W. Harris spoke of Sidney Roberts course, his two Spirits,
followed by Prest Alred said they were acquainted with Bro. Roberts course
Geo. Coulson followed showing that he manifested the two spirits in that
he has said he did not want to hurt Bro. Caulkins but went on to state
that he was an adulteres- after considerable talk and hard scoring
Counsellor Coulson moved that Bro. Roberts be restored to his former
standings carried unanimously.. Br Stoddard then introduced the
case of John Loveless who was present and wished to speak- Prest
Alred said he had received notice of one decission, and if he had
complied all was right if not there was no use in listening to him
Counsellor Coulson thot he might be heard.. Prest Alred thot not..
Counsellor Benson suggested the propriety of sending out an
exploring party to look out a ridge rout to Laramie.. Remarks
from Counsellor Benson & Stoddard,, Bro. John Gould presented a
charge against John W. Cooley, the charge was read and the
case laid over two weeks= Council adjourned two weeks at
10 oclock A. M. E. M. Greene clerk

Persuant to adjournment the High Council met Counsellors
C. C. Pendleton & J. M. Benson being absent Thomas Mc Kensie & Samuel
Adair were chosen to fill their places- Some Altrication raised by
Counsellor Geo. W. Harris relative to filling up the Council by Seventies
and Elders= The Council all but Bro. Harris voted to admit these
