of the Branchs in Pottawatamie County..
On motion it was voted one man be appointed
to take that supervision..
On notion Lyman Stoddard was appointed to
that office with power to act as Bishop in settling
difficulties in the Branches, and between members,
also with power to call to his aid in preaching as
many be needful.
On motion J. M. Benson, and Jacob Bigler
were appointed a committee to see to the settling
of the poor saints that come in..
Council adjourned to the stand to attend

at the Music Hall, Present , O Hyde.

Remarks by Prest James Allred----- The St Lewis's
Brass Band came into the yard I front of their
Hall, and gave a splendid exhibition of their
skill on muscial instruments.
Brother Jacob Bigler was chosen Pro. Tem. to fill
Henry W. Millers place in the Council and
Bro. W. N. Lane to fill J.M. Benson's Place
Prayer by James Mc Leallen.
Bishop Joseph Knight to bring before the Council now
in session, the papers and records pertaining to his
office and showing his acts as Bishop in Pottawatamie
Prest O Hyde moved to accept Bishops Johnson
and Biglers reports, on their filing them in writing with
the clerk of the Council to be entered on the book
Bishop Johnson and Bigler presented their Books pertaining to
Business in the Bishopric
