The High Council met pursuant to adjournment
all present except H. W. Miller,, Jacob Bigler
appeared in his place, Prayer by Councillor Arson Johnson.
The minutes of the 30th of March were read
& accepted,, also the minutes of the especial
Confreence Council of the [===] Instant read and
accepted---------------------------------------------
The remarks from Prest Allred relative to business &c
The clerk spoke of the business relative to the investigation
of the case of Councillor J. M. Benson.
Bro Benj Clapp spake on the subject said
he took the step he did That the People that had
been complaining against Bro Benson should
have the chance of making their objections.
Some remarks from Prest Allred relative to business
Councillor Snow said it was right that Bro Clapp
should bring the accusation & bring forward the
Persons that had made their complaints. Councillor
Harris wanted him to bring forward the business &
establish his position.. Some considerable [======]
relative to these feelings & statements. No----------
Bro Stoddard said he wanted Bro Clapp
to take it up or else he would do with it
spake with some warmth.
Moved to fill Bro Benson's place. Carried and on motion
Harlow Redfield was called to fill his place..
Councillor George Coulson said he should object to any
thing coming up acts as a High Councillor..
After some remarks it was determined that the objection
was for Councillor & Itinerant minister &c.. Prest O. Hyde came in..
Prest Jas Allred said the Council was ready for investigation.. Prest O. Hyde said if we undertake to remove an evil
let un remove the whole evil,, that we should investigate his official
