continue to poision the minds of this people
He also gave a history of the course and was
[-----] of the sunday following the previous Councilor..
Pres. O. Hyde moved that the unfinished business
be taken up,, seconded by Councillor Geo. Coulson
motion carried
Pres Geo. A. Smith said with regard to
jurisdiction, any Council that had jurisdiction
over an high Priest, had jurisdiction over
Peter Haws and Lucian Woodworth,, gave some
sketches from a conversation he had with Peter
Haws yesterday and this morning said
at the close of their talk Haws said he
would not urge any claims, but try to
role with the Church.. If he had been cited
to a trial he would have come to the
Council ad it was a matter of claim
and jurisdication be tho't he had best
not come as he was hastey, and things
might be said that he would be come
excited and say things that he should
be sorry for or that would not be right..
Pres. O. Hyde said many men when they
they see there is not chance, like the
Tortorise draw in their head and crawl
away from the Thons.. If those men
had a spirit of repentance they would
come before this Council and confess
their wrongs.. The spirit of those men is
not to join with the church in the Valley
or here.. It is like another spirit,, men
have covenanted to put into our hands
a bogus press,, but it does not come,, now
we will let them.. I am not disposed to
trifle with them..I will not trifle with any
man..
