to counsel people where to build who may
moved into this place hereafter
     Voted that we hold a Conferance at bro Lance
near the Indian mill two weeks from this day.

you are hereby notified to appear at a Conferance
at or near brLanez this day two weeks 10 oclock
A. M. to answer to charges that will then and there
be preferd against you Done by order of the
Council, the charges above attened to are 1st for
killing an ox not your own. 2nd for taking a
grindstone not your own.

Pres. Orson Hyde was chosen chairman and E. M.Greene

     Preporatory remarks by the chairman said he was
activated upon, as he was, he knew not why, unless the
Lord required it. As the quorum of the twelve were gone
(Themself excepted) and as some thought that the instruction
of Brother Brigham was sufficient, yet as a person, who
is absent cannot for see all events; it is good and conventient
to have some one to council in present emergencies
Pres. Hyde wished to know if the brethren would acknowledge
him as the representative of  Bro. Brigham..
