Some very apppriate remarks from the Councillors
and after a sufficient investigation Prest O. Hyde decided
that unless Mary Ette Henderson shall with in one week
compromise with her husband Samuel Henderson and
return to his house to live with him, he shall at that
time be free from her, and at liberty to obtain another com=
=panion, and she shall be cut off from the Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter Day Saints-

The High Council met pursuant to adjournment at the
music Hall- Present Prest O. Hyde and PrestJames Allred -and
Councillors Aaron Johnson Ira Oviatt, Geo. Coulson, Wm Snow,
Lyman Stoddard, Jacob G. Bigler, Noah S. Bulkley & J. M. Benson,
and Samuel Williams, Jacob Bigler, Wm Flimming were
chosen Pro Tem. & J. C. Wright appointed clerk pro Tem. Council Opened with prayer by George Coulson. Remarks
by Prest O. Hyde- He wished the council to consider the cases
of some persons who had violated the marriage covenant,
also their covenants made in the Temple: also Philo Dibble
conduct. It was moved that Philo Diblle summoned
before the council. Summons issued. It was moved that
Elder O. Hyde be permitted to withdraw- Carried. It was
moved that Wilkison Hervett be requested to appear-Sister
Savery came and enquired of the Council why she was disf-
elllowshiped- Councillor L. Stoddard, said it was for comtempt
shown to him & Bro Charles M, Johnson, while they were settling
a difficulty between her husband and Bro- Thomas Guyman
It was moved that she make satisfaction to that
committee, and they dispose of the case. Carried.
Bro W. Hewett came in Prest Allred said Bro Hewett has
come, I suppose he recollects; he was before us, this day two weeks
age, and knows what was done, and what would be done if cert=
ain things remained as they were-He can speak------------
