in one month from this time to be enrolled. on motion, it was
carried, that James Alred and George Coulson act as councillors
to the President pro tem. further business was postponed until the
first sunday in September next, to be held in this meeting ground or in the Music Hall.

Sunday September 1st 1850. The quorum of High Priests assembled
at the meeting ground at Kanesville, the day being pleasant, and
after singing and Prayer, as usual, proceeded and arranged the
names of all the Members of this quorum now in this County as
residents, from the original record of names, the names given in
to the clerk since the last meeting, and on diligent enquiry
now made from those now present. John Dickson, Mc Olneys
branch, John Wright, Council Point, Alfred B Child, Big
Pigeon branch, William A. Weston, Springville branch, Barrum
B. Messenger, Carterville branch, Thomas A. Curtiss, Springville
branch, and Cornelius Nanloovin, Carterville, were respectively
recommended for Ordination into this quorum, and received
by unanimous votes, and Ordained accordingly. It was then
carried by vote, that the next meeting of this quorum take place
in the Music Hall at the usual hour upon Sunday the 29th day
of September just in consequence of the meeting of the general Confe=
=rence which will take place on Sunday the 6th of Oct next. The
meeting was then adjourned, & dismissed as usual.

Sunday September 29th 1850. The High Priests quroum met
in the Music Hall in Kanesville, at ten oclock a m agree=
=able to adjournment. The President and his Counsellors
were present, The meeting was opened by prayer by Elder
George Coulson, The minutes of the meetings since the
7th day of April last were then read and approved.
