met persuant to adjournment all of the High Council
present but L Browning 4 J. M. Benson when the names ware called
    Prayer by J.C. Snow remarks by Prest Allred on Percirably
Councillor came in the minutes read and on mohon were
acceptd. Remarks from Prest Allred
BP J G Bigler made report of the Branches so far as they had
as the had been recieved, in general good standing except
two or three cares in the allred Branched, Remarks from
several on the reports of the Bishop. The clerk E M Greene
Requested to be exhonerated for the day and that J G Bigler
take his place as clerk for the day ad he was called on to attend
to some county beeng. the clerk of the Destrict court the
granted by the Council, Remarks again in general from the Council
in general in Regard to reports of branches Tithing &c.
Prest Hyde came in spake in regard the same subject said
the time will come and is not far distant when the mem-
bers of the church will be required to pay their tenth
and not in Old Horses at high prices and when men
and women will quarrel and seprate the one fault
shall at draw a support from the Bishop or church but let
them be examincated from the church, Remarks from
G W Harris and others in regard to the duty of Bishops the
travelling High Priasts in Pattawatamie County prest
Hyde said the Bishops duty was more paticularly to attend to
temporal matters wherein Dollars and cents and property was
concerned and also that the Council was right in
appointing Bro. Gnow  to travel and preach and settle
difficulties that ride from talking back biting false
doctrine missunderstanding  &c.  ===== by Prest Hyde that the Bishops and his assistants have the power
to settle all matters of difficulty wherein Dollars and
cents or property is concerned Carried by the Council
unanimously also that Brother J C Snow the agent of
the Council have and his agents shall have authority to
settle all difficulties of a moral or spiritual
kind Carried by a unanimous vote of the Council
Prest Hyde spake concerning Husband and wife quarreling and parting
said  let the marriage covenant be weakened and
what are we it destroys us, said his voice was against it
