Bro. Geo. A. Smith spake relative to the poor in this
branch also relative to the situation of Bishop
Jos. Knights,, and proposed that a Bishop be appointed
in this branch, and suggested a tenth day trying
to get wood for the poor &c. Remarks by Pres Allred..
    Pres. Geo. A. Smith spake relative to the clerks E. M. Greene
& Robert Campbell to proposed that they be paid for their
services in fitting up the eseppress for the Valley ,, On
motion the bishop was instructed to pay to each
of the above named clerks for the above named
services twelve dollars out of the tything.. On motion
Pres. Geo. A. Smith was instructed & receive tything at
the Tabernacle Each Saturday.. On motion Councillor
Silas Richards was appointed Bishop to see to the
poor in this Branch---
