Bro Lovelace and inquired what for an ox he had
killed,, he said it was a steer two years old that
followed him and Willson from Bonepast.. He then
went to Bro. Willson and found they killed the steer at Bro Willson house.. By the council of Bro Amosa Lyman
he took two Brother and went to Bro. Lovelace and
laid the case before him, and he expressed a good deal
of anger.. Bro Jeramiah Bingham, stated he went
with bro. Furgerson to see bro Lovelace and he expressed a great deal of anger,, but said no one but bro. Craig
and his own family knew the steer and he would have
it to bro. Craigs discription of the steer to decide it and
brother Lucius Bingham agreed to see Craig and get
with Lovelace's disscription.. Sister Jemsia Smith stated
that Furgerson's ox was at their house the night before
Lovelace killed the steer,, also Lovelace sent them
some beef on sunday and some more on monday,,
that the Willson steer was killed on saturday and the
other on monday,, stated that Love lace said at their
house he had killed but one and then in conversation
said they both were young.. Bro Winn stated that Lovelace
and Willson killed a two year old steer and it was under--
stood to be the one they drove from Bonepast,, it was yellow
and red had stayish horns.. Bro. Gideon wood said
Bro Winn had described the steer nearly but not quite.
said it was pale red and white -----with stayish
horns.. Numbers of the brethren said Bro. Willson
had told them the steer they killed at his house
was the one they drove from Iowa..

Elizabeth Willson testified she knew the steer
that her brother and brother Lovelace killed, and it
was the one they drove from Bonepast..
