J. C. Little Plaintiff- Examined the testimonies
that had been given &c- spake with much plainness
on the several items of testimony and especially
on A. Palmers testimony that Bro. Harris had told him
that Joseph died in transgression &c_ and
refered to Bro. Harris' confession of his oponions
relative
to Prophest, Seers, Revelatiors, &c on the 31st abt-
said the charge was made out &c- and
submitted it to the Council & Bro. Harris--
Bro. Harris arose and said he saw his
Error, he stood corrected, and asked the Council
and Brethren to forgive him-
Bro. Little asked him what was it that was his
Error that he confessed &c-
Bro. Harris said all the charge and asked
if the congregation if they understood it
ans- Yes
Bro. Benson said he did not feel to opress
Bro. Harris thur were no personal feelings with
him neither had been- He & father Harris shook
hands over it &c- Bro. Benson made some good
remarks,, and called on the Council to say if they
accept his confession &c. the voice of the Council
was unanimous in the affirmative_ also called
on the congregation who all voted in the affirmative
J. A. Kelting requested that his case be called
up next Saturday request granted--
Bro. J. C. Snow presented a request for
Bro------ Baty be ordained a High Priest
