Case of Mary E Earl. NO. 3409.
On this 6 day of October, 1888, at
Silver Reef, County of Washington, Territory
State of Utah, before me, E. P. Halstead, a
Speical Examiner of the Pension Office, personally appeared Cyrus
Earl, who, being by me first duly sworn to answer
truly all interrigaories propounded to his during the Special Examination of aforesaid
pension calim, deposes and says: that he is 29 years old,
occupaion common laborer, residence
and post office address Silver Reef,
Washington Co. Utah; that he is a son
of the claimant there were nine
children, remembers his father,
who died over fifteen years ago
in pine valley, Utah; that his marriage
to the claimant and left his first
wife in the states some where and
then married his mother, the first
wife attempted to poision him which
was why he left her, could not
say whether he was divorced from
her or not never heard him say;
knows of hid fathers first wife by
bearing his mother the claimant
tell about it, never heard his
father speak of it while living as
he was very young, thinks he was
all of ten if not twelve years old
when his father died saw him when
he was dead, he died of Comsumption
does not know of any other wife then
the first one and his mother just
the two, does not know whether the
first wife is dead or not, his
