Some remarks relative to Bishop Aaron Johnsons
doings as Bishop, from several of the councillors
Prest O. Hyde moved that as Bishop Johnson had not
chosen his second Councillor that Lorenzo Johnson be said
second Councillor to the bishop,,carried unaminously
The case of Councillor Geo. W. Harris, and Younger Mc Careslin
was called up and on motion it was voted not agilate it
before the Council but that it be taken to a Bishop's Court..
The Council adjourned fifteen minutes, and then
came to order, and the select Councillor reported, the
most suitable place to remove the Tabernacle onto,
according to their judgement, taking all things into consi-
deration, was just above Bros Blains house on the road
to Pigeon,, but they thought that a drain cut from the
pond into the creek and another on the back
of the house into that would secure the house from
wet where it was did that by raising the floor the
house could be repaired where it was to a much
better advantage than to move it..
Councillor George Coulson moved to accept
the report and Ira Oviatt seconded it..
Motion carried unaminously..
Councillor H. W. Miller move to give the Tabernacle
to the bishop to disposes of as he shall see proper..
Motion carried unaminous ..
On motion the Council adjourned untill two
weeks from yesterday at 10 oclock A. M.
