this day,- John Mc Murray of the Elders Quorum appli=
=ed for admission unto this quorum, but had not a recom=
=mend from that quorum, and after considerable discus=
=sion, it was laid over for him to procure such a recommend,
and decided that he should at least have one from those in his neighbourhood who knew his Conduct. Walter
Muir was presented for Ordination, and it was decided
upon vote, that he be ordained a Teacher, where he lives.
Abraham Hendricks (Bishop at Bethlehem) applied
for reception into this quorum, and was received by vote.
After some discussion, and teachings, upon the right &
propriety of High Priests Ordaining others abroad unto
the high Priesthood, the meeting was adjourned, until
the first Sabbath in June next, and to meet at Noon,
and then dismissed in the usual manner.-

Sunday June 1st 1851, In consequence of the high Waters from the Continual heavy rains, but very few, Members
of this quorum could cross the creeks, therefore meeting of the quorum was postponed until the first Sabbath
in next.-

Sunday July 6th 1851. The meeting was opened by Prayer,
by Elder Coulson the President. Roll of, Members names was
called. All minuites since 2nd march last were read and
approved. Jesse C. Little and Elam Mecham were received|
into the quorum. Moved by George Q. Harris, & seconded &
carried, that Joseph B. Bosworths case stand over until
he attends. Upon presentation of a Certificate from John
Horn, clerk of pleasant Valley branch, that Calvin R.
Clark was disfellowshipped by said branch, it was put
to vote,, & he was disfellowshipped by this quorum
