I beg leave to call your attention
to the Warrants for the following named soldiers
of the Mormon Battalion, that served in Califⁿ
under Kearney viz

Lorenzo Clark
Capt Higgins Captn
There warrants were applied for by their agent
Dr Holaday some years past & when issued
were to be sent or handed to our Senator
Hon D.R. Attchison for Dr Holladay.
     You will confer a favor to let me know
what has become of these warrants or the application
