Bro Lovelace confessed he found for------a piece
of a chain, about nine links, and as it did not
correspond with the chain Mr Banks described  he 
spoke to Bro's Jas. & Jackson Allen and they said take
it with you and he did so, and had it put into
another chain..
 Pres. O Hyde made some very pertinent remarks on  
the subject.. Spoke also on Indian affairs,, and gave
some good advice on the subject..
Bro Hyde moved that when bro. Lovelace return the
grindstone and pay for the use of it to bro. Alred
and pays the beef to Bro N. K. Whitney he shall be
clear and had in fellowship..            Voted unaniumouly..
 Pres. O. Hyde then introduced the case of Elizah
Mellin (bis) John Bearnard, that had been had  before        the High Council.. The clerk then read the minutes of
the council on that case..
Pres. Hyde Sustained the decision of the council
and the people voted that Sidwell look to Tinker
for his pay.. By request the clerk read the appointment
of the High Council on this side of the river..
Pres. Hyde said he assisted to orgenize or appoint
and they were duly appointed, and if they had
done anything wrong he had it yet to learn..
