To the High Counsill of the Church of Jesus
Christ of Latterday Saints at Counsell Point greetings
We the undersigned members of the Counsell Point
Branch do hereby ask your honorable body to
take into consideration the propiaty & necesaty
of Selecting & appointing some proper person to
act as a Bishop for this branch - Believing as
we do that where there is so large a branch as
there is here N 3320 soles there will be many
Small matters of difficulty to Settle that would
be tedious hard troublesam for the High Counsel
& mite be done at a Bishops Court without & save
the High Counsell much time & troubel  -- And we
you petitioners ask that he may be Ordained with
full power to act & do all Buisness that pertains
to the Bishopprick & shall ever pray
