he was unanimously elected President of
this  Conference   It  motion and made by

Smith spoke on the Subject of Lyman Whites
Pamphlet Br George Colston mad a part
of the Pamphlet of Lyman White An Answer to
Lymans Pamphlet was written by Br
Orson Hyde was mad by Br Robt Campbell
 Conference adjourned until 2 o clock after
a prayer by E T  Benson   At 2 P M
Conference Convened and several times
was played by the band of Music after
which prayer was made by  Br E Lee A Hymn
was then sing by Joseph Young   Br Geo A
Smith introduced a paper from Kirtland
Ohio  and Br Smith said he was a going
to try the authorities of this Church and
he nad a letter of Oliver Cowdry and
an another by David Witmen  [--]
It is moved and Seconded that this Con
=ference Sustain Brigham Young as President
of this Church Carried it is moved and seconded
H C Thimble be Sustained Carried  It is moved
and seconded that Willard Richards
be Sustained Carried and the then above
named Constitute the first  Presidency
