About this period; or shortly after, the meetings of the High Priests
quorum were discontinued in Pottawatamie County , Iowa,in
consequence of the Council received from the first Presidency
of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints for the
ingathering of the members of the Church in that
region of Country, to the great Salt Lake Valley, Utah
Territory, therefore but few meetings were held afterwards,
and no business of any importance transaded.
