for the poor &c.. The abserved that as the Lord cursed
the ground for man's sake when he trans gressed. He tho't
the rich man that had the most land in his possession had
the greatest curse.. He said , the german translation of the mamon of unrighteousness ,is time good, (T. E.) the things of
time.. He regard to his sayings in regard to keeping the sayings
of the apostles, or his sayings..He told the people at the
Conference in the summer if they would observe  his words
an do an do them, they should be bless with seasonable
showers and good corps,, which has been truly verified
and showed the people were honest and the Lord had
respect to them & blessed them.. 
   Bro. Lymen stoddard gave some items of his
labors.. He reported thirty organized Branches on this side
of the river.. in general good standing..
   Pres. Hyde said he tho't the Branch at Trading Point 
was not in very good standing,,said we read that we 
should work out our salvation with fear and trembling
but he tho't they were gainbling out their's and he 
moved to withdraw the had of fellowship from them and
that they be required to hold a day  of fasting and prayer
and confess their sins before God and men , before they
be had in fellowship with the Church again.
  Voted  in the affirmative ,, He then wished his

words relative to intermariage  to be born in mind ..
  He wished it understood that we as a people take
no part either with the abolishenist or Slave holder..
Pres. Jos Young arose and backed up the testimony
against gambling stealing &c..
Pres. Hyde then bro't up the case of Geo,  W. Bratton
who was had up in the former Conference, and stated
that on investigation, he found no great wrong in Bro. Bratton
and he moved that he be honorably acquitted..
Vote carried in the affirmative ..
