generous hearted men who commit horrid
deeds beggin[g] our protection pledging their
lives to sustain us and at the same time
jeopardizing ours spoke of the benifits arising
sometimes from doing a favour. said he did
not want innocent wives & Children to suffer.
At the same time as a Church we should take
a wise course - Alluded to a small circumstance of
favour which he received from a man the
subject of these remarks - and concluded by
saying the same the woman - - -

A vote was taken by the council & house to that
effect which was.
Pres^t Hyde send an appeal to the Public
to raize funds to carry out this means

The Council adjourned to meet this day fortnight -
